About The Position

The Server Assistant supports dining service at Bourbon Steak at Waldorf Astoria Monarch Beach Resort, helping create memorable guest experiences through attentive, friendly hospitality. The role includes preparing and maintaining tables and service stations, assisting servers with food and beverage delivery, and clearing and transporting used tableware. The position also requires following health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol-awareness regulations.

Responsibilities

• Bring an upbeat, friendly attitude to guest interactions and proactively look for ways to make the dining experience special.
• Set and arrange tables for dining, including folding napkins and cleaning and placing tableware.
• Ensure tableware is clean and in excellent condition, and report issues for immediate repair.
• Keep service stations fully stocked, clean, and ready for service.
• Assist servers by delivering beverages, bread, and other items as needed.
• Remove dishware, glassware, and silverware after meal service and deliver them to the dishwashing area.
• Comply with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol-awareness regulations.
