About The Position

The Server Assistant supports dining service at Bourbon Steak within the Waldorf Astoria Monarch Beach Resort & Club. The role helps prepare the restaurant for service and supports servers while creating a welcoming, memorable meal experience for guests. It requires a friendly, upbeat approach and attention to cleanliness, table setup, service-station readiness, and applicable health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol-awareness standards.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and assist guests with an upbeat, friendly attitude, proactively looking for ways to make their meal experience special.
• Set and arrange tables, including folding napkins and cleaning and placing tableware.
• Inspect tableware for cleanliness and good condition, and report issues for immediate repair.
• Keep service stations fully stocked, clean, and ready for service.
• Assist servers by delivering beverages, bread, and other items as needed.
• Clear dishware, glassware, and silverware after meals and transport them to the dishwashing area.
• Comply with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol-awareness regulations.
