About The Position

The Server Assistant supports dining service at the Beaudry Room at Conrad Los Angeles by preparing and maintaining dining areas, transporting food and tableware, and assisting servers with guest service. The role helps ensure food and service items are fresh, appropriately stocked, and ready for guests, while contributing to memorable hospitality experiences.

Requirements

• Knowledge of appropriate table settings and service ware.
• Ability to understand and communicate in English to comprehend and respond to basic guest requests.
• Ability to understand written English and read caution or safety notices.
• Ability to grasp, lift, carry, or otherwise transport up to 50 pounds through a crowded room.
• Organized and able to manage time effectively.
• Able to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Transport food items between the purchasing area and kitchens to replenish supplies and support product consistency, freshness, and rotation.
• Clear dirty table settings promptly and reset tables with the prescribed service ware.
• Maintain the stock and cleanliness of stations throughout meal periods, including silverware, linen, and condiments.
• Wipe down booths and chairs, move tables and chairs, and clean floors as necessary.
• Serve beverages, bread, and butter to guests, and replenish items as needed.
• Assist servers with food and beverage service to support guest satisfaction.
• Transport dirty tableware from the dining room to the dishwashing area for cleaning.
