About The Position

The dining experience is of utmost importance to our overnight and day guests. Not only do we wish to deliver an inspired menu and artfully plated dishes, but we wish to do so with genuine care and the highest customer service. A server assistant delivers all food menu items and accurately describes them to the guests. This role acts as a liaison between the servers, cocktail servers & bartenders, and chefs, assisting with setting and clearing tables, filling/refilling waters and drinks, and helping support table service. Additionally, server assistants interact with the dining room guests, fellow team members, and supervisors in a polite and courteous manner to ensure gracious hospitality.

Requirements

  • Entry-level position into a career in Food & Beverage
  • Ability to deliver and describe all food items to the guests, in a timely manner.
  • Ability to participate in table maintenance and bussing of excess tableware.
  • Ability to maintain general cleanliness of stations and the entire venue.
  • Ability to follow supervisor’s instructions, communicate with and support co-workers, and be a team player.
  • Possesses in-depth knowledge of all food menus and the company.
  • Ability to comply with Department of Health and company sanitation standards.
  • Ability to communicate the needs of the guests to Front-of-House and Heart-of-House support team members, managers, and chefs.
  • Ability to properly set up runner’s station, performs side-work and other opening/closing procedures as directed by management, including stocking station with prescribed items and supplies and performing opening and closing side-work as prescribed.
  • Ability to report all breakage, and damage of equipment or furniture immediately to management.
  • Ability to attend and participate in daily pre-service meetings.
  • Ability to attend and participate in any training sessions or departmental meetings.
  • Ability to learn by listening, observe other team members, and share knowledge while leading by example.
  • Ability to portray a positive and professional attitude.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and provide help and support to all fellow team members.
  • Ability to assist and/ or complete additional tasks as assigned
