About The Position

The Restaurant Food Runner ensures timely and accurate delivery of menu items from the kitchen to guests, helping maintain smooth service and clear communication between front- and back-of-house teams. The role supports an organized, polished dining experience by checking order accuracy and presentation, communicating timing and special requests, assisting with table resets and service restocking, and maintaining clean service areas. The Food Runner may also run beverages, respond to basic guest questions, and perform other assigned duties. Regular attendance and participation in mandatory training sessions and meetings are required. Schedules may vary to reflect business needs.

Requirements

• Ability to lift and carry heavy trays and navigate crowded spaces.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

• Prior restaurant or hospitality experience.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Deliver food from the kitchen to guests in an efficient, organized manner.
• Ensure orders are accurate and properly presented before delivery.
• Communicate course timing, modifications, and special requests to servers.
• Assist in clearing and resetting tables between courses or after guests leave.
• Support servers by restocking plates, silverware, and service items.
• Maintain cleanliness of expo lines, food stations, and service areas.
• Assist with running beverages as needed.
• Answer basic guest questions or direct guests to servers.
• Maintain regular attendance in conformance with standards.
• Attend all mandatory training sessions and meetings.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
