About The Position
Pyramid Global Hospitality is hiring a seasonal Server Assistant at Mountain Shadows Resort in Scottsdale, Arizona. The role supports the restaurant service team in delivering memorable hospitality to guests. The Server Assistant maintains restaurant cleanliness and organization, keeps server stations properly stocked and set up, clears and cleans tables, and assists servers with ongoing service needs. The position is suited to someone interested in beginning or developing a career in restaurants and hospitality.
Requirements
- Have an engaging and welcoming personality.
- Have knowledge of wine, beer, cocktails, and spirits.
- Be able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Have a passion for creating an exceptional experience for guests.
- Have excellent communication skills.
- Be able to regularly lift and carry 25 pounds.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests as they arrive or move about the restaurant area.
- Maintain the proper and adequate setup of server stations.
- Assist servers in keeping tables clean and available for arriving guests.
- Assist servers with ongoing service details.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the restaurant area.
- Develop a thorough understanding of the restaurant operation.
- Work collaboratively with restaurant servers and kitchen and bar staff.
