About The Position

Coury Hospitality is hiring a Server Assistant / Busser to support the dual-branded campus of TETRA Hotel, Autograph Collection and AC Hotel Sunnyvale Moffett Park in Sunnyvale, California. The role supports the Food & Beverage team in providing attentive service, thoughtful details, and smooth dining operations for hotel guests.

The Server Assistant / Busser assists servers and hosts during meal periods, helps deliver food and beverages, maintains tables and service stations, and responds to guest needs. The position also supports banquets and special events and collaborates with Culinary and Food & Beverage colleagues. The posting describes a fast-paced hospitality environment focused on guest experience and service excellence.

Responsibilities

• Support Servers and Hosts in delivering exceptional guest experiences throughout each meal period.
• Assist with food delivery, beverage service, and guest requests as directed by service staff.
• Maintain water service and anticipate guest needs throughout the dining experience.
• Clear, clean, and reset tables promptly according to company standards and sanitation guidelines.
• Assist with table maintenance, including crumbing tables and replacing service items as needed.
• Transport used dishes, glassware, and utensils from the dining room to designated dish areas.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining rooms, patios, waiting areas, and service stations.
• Stock silverware, glassware, linens, condiments, and service supplies throughout each shift.
• Fold napkins, polish silverware, and maintain fully stocked side stations.
• Assist with banquet and special event setup, service, and breakdown as needed.
• Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests and communicate service concerns to leadership.
• Work collaboratively with Culinary and Food & Beverage teams to support seamless operations.
