About The Position

Coury Hospitality is hiring a Barista to support the dual-branded campus of TETRA Hotel, Autograph Collection and AC Hotel Sunnyvale Moffett Park in Sunnyvale, California. The role supports a café serving Silicon Valley business travelers, innovators, and visitors. The Barista prepares handcrafted coffee and other café offerings, provides personalized guest service, and helps create memorable experiences.

Nice To Haves

• Previous barista, coffee shop, food and beverage, or hospitality experience.
• Knowledge of espresso preparation and specialty coffee beverages.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve specialty coffee beverages, espresso drinks, teas, and other café offerings according to established recipes and presentation standards.
• Deliver warm, welcoming, and professional guest service.
• Maintain knowledge of menu offerings and recommend items based on guest preferences.
• Operate point-of-sale systems and process transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and presentation standards in café and service areas.
• Stock products, ingredients, supplies, and retail merchandise as needed.
• Monitor product quality and presentation to ensure brand standards are met.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and health department regulations.
• Perform opening, closing, inventory, and cash-handling procedures accurately.
• Assist guests with questions about hotel amenities, dining options, and campus offerings.
• Collaborate with fellow Experience Curators to create seamless guest experiences.
