About The Position
Coury Hospitality is hiring a Barista to support the dual-branded campus of TETRA Hotel, Autograph Collection and AC Hotel Sunnyvale Moffett Park. The role helps deliver the campus café experience for business travelers, innovators, and other hotel guests through handcrafted coffee beverages, grab-and-go offerings, and personalized service. The Barista prepares and serves café products, assists guests with recommendations and hotel information, and maintains high standards for service, product quality, cleanliness, and presentation. The role also includes point-of-sale transactions, stocking, inventory, cash handling, and opening and closing procedures. The position requires flexible availability, including mornings, weekends, holidays, and varied shifts, as well as the ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve specialty coffee beverages, espresso drinks, teas, and other café offerings according to established recipes and presentation standards.
- Provide warm, welcoming, and professional guest service.
- Know menu offerings and recommend items based on guest preferences.
- Operate point-of-sale systems and process transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and presentation standards in café and service areas.
- Stock products, ingredients, supplies, and retail merchandise as needed.
- Monitor product quality and presentation to ensure brand standards are met.
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and health department regulations.
- Perform opening, closing, inventory, and cash-handling procedures accurately.
- Answer guest questions about hotel amenities, dining options, and campus offerings.
- Collaborate with fellow Experience Curators to create seamless, memorable guest experiences.
