About The Position

Canva is seeking a passionate SEO Outreach Specialist to join the International SEO team for a 6-month contract. This role will focus on scaling growth in India by building high-quality backlinks to improve the SEO performance of key landing pages. The specialist will work closely with the India SEO Country Lead and Global Outreach Lead to set link-building targets, identify effective tactics, build prospect lists, and execute end-to-end outreach. Canva follows a strict white-hat approach to link building, providing a well-established playbook and opportunities for ideation. This role is full-time, 40 hours a week, and offers remote work flexibility within India.

Requirements

Fluent Hindi speaker with business-level English.
Positive, enthusiastic 'people person' with good written communication skills.
Some experience working in a marketing-related field such as sales, PR, media, or SEO.
High attention to detail.
Ability to closely follow detailed written instructions.

Responsibilities

Build high-quality backlinks to improve SEO performance of important landing pages.
Work with the India SEO Country Lead and Global Outreach Lead to set targets for link acquisition.
Identify the most appropriate link-building tactics.
Build lists of relevant backlink prospects.
Execute the end-to-end outreach process to secure high-quality links.
Identify landing pages that would benefit from backlinks on India-focused English SEO pages and Hindi subfolder pages.
Agree on targets for each backlink campaign.
Identify a list of backlink prospects following Canva's outreach playbook.
Write and send quality outreach emails tailored to specific campaigns and prospects.
Actively develop and maintain relationships with website owners, building an address book of contacts.
Maintain reporting spreadsheets to track progress towards goals.
Communicate with SEO Country Lead and Global Outreach Lead regarding progress and potential roadblocks.
Support the continual improvement of the global outreach strategy by sharing learnings and insights.
