About The Position

The Material Handler is responsible for supporting production operations through accurate material movement, inventory control, and work order (WO) support. This role plays a key part in ensuring production teams receive the correct materials on time while maintaining inventory accuracy and warehouse organization. The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, organized, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Requirements

Previous warehouse, material handling, or manufacturing experience preferred
Experience using ERP or inventory management systems considered an asset
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment
Ability to lift and move materials as required
Forklift experience/certification considered an asset
Reliable transportation is required
Consistent attendance and punctuality are essential for this position due to the time-sensitive nature of production support
Ability to work overtime or adjusted hours when operationally required

Responsibilities

Pull and stage materials for production work orders (WOs)
Verify part numbers, quantities, and locations before issuing material
Maintain accurate inventory transactions within the ERP system
Support inventory accuracy initiatives including cycle counts and stock verification
Receive, organize, and store incoming materials in designated warehouse locations
Replenish production areas as required
Investigate and report inventory discrepancies
Ensure proper material labeling and identification standards are maintained
Maintain warehouse cleanliness and organization
Assist with shipping, receiving, and general warehouse activities as needed
Follow all company safety and quality procedures
