About The Position

Cowan is seeking a Senior Vendor Coordinator in Baltimore to serve as the main point of contact for Cowan’s equipment and maintenance vendors. The role serves as an expert on equipment, warranty, and maintenance solutions, supporting internal teams and working with vendors to ensure effective, timely service.

Requirements

• Associate degree in diesel technology.
• 2–4 years of diesel or automotive repair experience.
• Basic knowledge of computer applications.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Act as a liaison among maintenance, operations, and external vendors.
• Communicate vendor solutions to internal Cowan customers and advise them on how to proceed.
• Resolve invoice issues, payment discrepancies, vendor issues, and process breakdowns.
• Perform vendor audits.
• Work with vendors to ensure timely and accurate repairs.
• Explore process improvements to improve quality and lower costs.
