Mistplay is on a mission to be the best way to play mobile games for everyone everywhere! The Senior User Acquisition Manager plays a strategic role in the company's continued global expansion. The position’s primary objective is to grow the company’s user base in dedicated markets by optimizing performance marketing campaigns across various third-party networks and social channels. Reporting to the Team Lead of User Acquisition, this is a key operational role that requires a unique balance of skill in creativity, analytical thinking, effective communication/negotiation, and business development. The Senior User Acquisition Manager must be able to drive performance at scale through the development of strategic operations and business relations. The ideal candidate has experience with mobile marketing or digital marketing and has a strong understanding of the mobile gaming industry on a global scale.

Requirements

  • 4-6+ years of experience in digital marketing and/or mobile user acquisition within the gaming industry
  • Undergraduate degree in marketing/finance or equivalent experience
  • Deep expertise with mobile advertising technology, including attribution platforms
  • Strong negotiation skills and experience in managing vendor contracts
  • Ability to analyze performance data and metrics to guide decisions related to UA operations
  • Ability to effectively collaborate with the Mistplay Design Team to help produce high performing & data-driven ad creatives
  • Previous experience in working with SDK networks, DSPs, SSPs, Facebook, and Google. This can include ironSource, UnityAds, AdColony, TapJoy, Fyber, and others.
  • Motivated to learn new skills and work with new technologies
  • Outstanding communication skills – both written and spoken in English
  • Someone who is up to date on the latest user acquisition trends, shifts in market dynamics, and emerging platforms

Nice To Haves

  • Advanced knowledge of SQL and/or other programming experience
  • Familiarity with email marketing and push notification campaigns
  • Experience with Photoshop
  • Additional spoken and written languages!

Responsibilities

  • Manage a monthly advertising budget exceeding $1M
  • Oversee campaigns across various channels and platforms, including SDKs, DSPs, and Facebook
  • Analyze performance data, report on key metrics, and effectively communicate actionable insights to stakeholders to optimize campaigns based on KPIs
  • Collaborate with partners to align on goals and strategies effectively
  • Identify and evaluate new partners, platforms, and campaign strategies to enhance performance
  • Foster and strengthen relationships with both new and existing partners
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams (creative, data, product, legal)
  • Stay informed about creative trends and contribute to fresh, innovative ideas during ideation sessions
  • Oversee critical UA initiatives, such a retargeting and signal testing
