About The Position

RevenueCat is seeking a Senior Paid User Acquisition Strategist to join their Customer Growth organization. This role is part of a small, cross-functional team focused on designing and implementing high-impact growth strategies, including User Acquisition, Conversion Rate Optimization, and Lifecycle Marketing. The strategist will focus on everything that happens before the paywall: how users are acquired, how to scale campaigns efficiently, and how to build predictable growth feedback loops. This role involves close collaboration with content, marketing, and advocacy teams to translate real-world project outcomes into valuable resources for the broader app community. The core of the role is to help customers understand how to profitably acquire more users and scale their growth, bridging the gap between having a great app and knowing how to effectively scale its user base. RevenueCat, with its extensive monetization data, is building tools to connect revenue data back to acquisition channels and campaigns. This position requires someone with hands-on experience managing significant UA budgets, testing and scaling channels, and understanding key growth levers. The strategist will work directly with customers, audit UA setups, advise on channel strategy, and help them achieve profitable scale. Learnings from these engagements will inform product roadmaps, playbooks, and public-facing content, positioning RevenueCat as a leader in app growth. Key priorities for this role include: * **Help customers grow:** Directly assist app developers by auditing their UA strategies, advising on channel mix, and guiding them toward profitable scale. * **Inform product development:** Act as the internal voice of the performance marketer, providing real-world insights to shape the product roadmap and improve growth tools. * **Educate the market:** Create scalable playbooks, templates, and content to establish RevenueCat as an authority on mobile UA best practices. This is a hands-on role involving campaign structures, growth models, strategic planning, and shaping product development. The individual will also be a public-facing voice on mobile UA.

Requirements

  • 5-8+ years of hands-on experience in mobile user acquisition, with a significant portion spent on subscription apps.
  • Personally managed substantial paid budgets and been accountable for driving user growth and hitting efficiency targets.
  • Experience with major mobile ad channels such as Apple Search Ads, Meta, Google App Campaigns, TikTok, and/or programmatic, with real depth in at least two and a proven ability to scale them.
  • Strong understanding of how to measure success in mobile UA, including LTV modeling, cohort analyses, and payback frameworks.
  • Comfortable with SQL, spreadsheets, or BI tools.
  • Working knowledge of the mobile measurement landscape and privacy-first shifts, with a focus on their impact on broader growth strategies.
  • Strong customer-facing communication skills, with the ability to lead workshops, write compelling briefs, and present strategies to executives.
  • Experience working in a remote-first, asynchronous environment across multiple time zones.

Nice To Haves

  • Published content, spoken at conferences, or built a public profile around mobile growth or UA topics.
  • Experience with ad monetization (not just subscriptions) and understanding of hybrid monetization models.
  • Familiarity with RevenueCat's product or having been a customer.

Responsibilities

  • Run structured engagements with RevenueCat customers and prospects, auditing their UA strategies, advising on channel mix, helping them design measurement frameworks, and guiding them on how to scale their user base profitably.
  • Provide continuous input to Product and Engineering on how growth tools, integrations, and reporting need to evolve based on real customer use cases.
  • Codify effective strategies into scalable assets such as UA playbooks, channel-specific guides, and growth templates for use by CSMs, Sales, and customers.
  • Partner with Advocacy and Content teams to transform engagement learnings into blog posts, webinars, conference talks, teardowns, and guides, acting as a credible voice on mobile user acquisition.
  • Help Sales, Customer Success, and Support teams speak intelligently about UA to deepen customer-facing growth conversations.
