About The Position

The Senior Trainer develops and conducts training programs and auditing tools for Superior Health Plan to improve and sustain quality and operational readiness. The role is primarily remote and requires 25% statewide travel. Candidates must reside in Texas. The position requires a valid driver's license.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
At least 4 years of training and auditing experience, preferably in a managed care or healthcare environment.
Valid driver's license.
Must reside in Texas.
Ability to travel statewide; travel expectation is 25%.

Nice To Haves

Knowledge and experience creating e-learning on various platforms, including Articulate and Camtasia.
Knowledge and experience with curriculum development.

Responsibilities

Coordinate training efforts with various cross-functional areas.
Develop and administer a universal training curriculum, use technology, and enhance training development programs.
Conduct training sessions covering processes specific to various health plan departments.
Develop teaching aids, including training handbooks, demonstration models, multimedia visual aids, computer tutorials, and reference works.
Evaluate training-program effectiveness, including cost-benefit analyses, and communicate results to management.
Audit team results, identify training gaps, and implement improvements to training programs.
Review and recommend updates to policies and procedures.
Travel as required.
