About The Position

The Senior Technical Product Manager will make it easier for American Express teams and approved partners to build agent-enabled experiences. The role owns the roadmap for shared integration capabilities, developer tools, and onboarding, partnering with engineering, Identity, and Evaluation teams to make integrations secure, reliable, and easy to use. Domain product teams remain responsible for partner relationships and launches. The role leads platform and developer-experience products from discovery through delivery and adoption. It maps partner integrations through the first successful call and production readiness, defines documentation and onboarding requirements, and selects guided or self-service onboarding according to partner needs and risks. It also establishes reusable integration patterns and learning experiments, then turns findings into integration requirements and guidance while preserving domain business rules. The product manager measures onboarding time, integration success, reliability, and developer adoption; works with engineering and Analytics to assess integration quality and experience; and uses performance and customer-experience signals to prioritize improvements. The role also supports development and release planning, manages dependencies, and communicates decisions, risks, and tradeoffs across engineering, architecture, domain product, partner integration, Identity, security, privacy, legal, compliance, and risk stakeholders.

  • Technical fluency with APIs, authentication and authorization flows, schemas, integration testing, versioning, and errors.

  • Strong product judgment, discovery, and prioritization skills, including translating ambiguous needs into a roadmap, requirements, and acceptance criteria.
  • Experience aligning teams with different ownership boundaries and balancing customer, business, technical, and control requirements.
