About The Position

Flywire is seeking a Senior Technical Implementation Manager to join its high-growth B2B vertical. The role serves as the strategic and technical lead for complex client implementations, owning project success from kickoff through go-live. The manager partners with clients, engineering, and product teams to deliver implementations, build client relationships, manage risk, and improve implementation processes.

This position is the primary point of accountability for important B2B accounts. It combines payments and technology expertise with client leadership, project management, integrations, and process improvement. The role also uses AI-powered automation to increase implementation speed and quality.

Requirements

• BA/BS degree.
• At least 5 years of experience in payments implementation, financial technology, or SaaS-based software implementations.
• At least 5 years of technical project management or change management experience; required.
• NetSuite implementation and technical configuration experience; required.
• Technical knowledge of APIs, SFTP, webhooks, JSON, and SQL.
• Experience with ERP systems such as NetSuite and Intacct and CRM platforms such as Salesforce and HubSpot.
• Knowledge of payment gateways and tokenization concepts.
• Ability to learn new technical tools and systems quickly.
• Experience building or managing AI agents, automation workflows, or scripting solutions, and comfort iterating with AI tools to solve implementation challenges.
• Ability to manage multi-phase implementations with competing priorities, with strong risk management and stakeholder communication skills.
• Experience with SDLC methodologies and implementation frameworks.
• Ability to present to C-suite and senior stakeholders, communicate effectively in writing and verbally, and translate technical concepts into business outcomes.
• Demonstrated accountability for project outcomes and client success, proactive problem-solving, initiative beyond assigned scope, and a track record of continuous improvement and process optimization.

Responsibilities

• Drive end-to-end implementations, establish milestones, manage scope, and deliver projects on time and within budget while owning client satisfaction and go-live outcomes.
• Serve as the primary technical and strategic advisor to client leadership, translate business requirements into implementation roadmaps, and identify expansion opportunities.
• Configure and test Flywire’s platform for invoicing, payment, and reconciliation workflows, and lead integrations with ERP, CRM, and custom platforms.
• Manage multi-phase implementations with competing priorities and guide clients through organizational change, adoption planning, and success metrics definition.
• Map data flows across systems, design validation protocols, troubleshoot file formatting, syncing, and tokenization issues, and oversee payment routing configurations.
• Build and manage custom AI agents to automate repetitive tasks such as data validation, documentation generation, and process automation.
• Partner with engineering to scope customizations, troubleshoot blockers, and resolve complex integration challenges.
• Design and deliver client training programs, documentation, and sandbox testing protocols to prepare clients for go-live.
• Improve implementation tooling, documentation, and delivery methodology, and lead internal initiatives to scale implementation capability.
• Collaborate with sales, client success, solutions, and engineering to ensure alignment and continuity throughout the client lifecycle.
