About The Position

The expectation of this position is to lead and direct a team to achieve the Pedigree farm objectives. This is an entry-level professional position responsible for supervising an individual or small group of non-exempt team members (e.g., clerical, administrative, and production employees). Responsibilities include providing training, monitoring work quality, and coaching team members on performance. Responsible for the quality of results produced by the team. Must be able to work independently and evaluate alternatives in situations not covered by written procedures.

Requirements

• College degree or equivalent experience required.
• Limited experience required.
• Proficiency in data collection and management using Microsoft Office applications is required.
• Must use safe lifting techniques.
• Must be willing to sign an agreement to avoid contact with any avian species, including chickens, ducks, and other birds.
• The Company Animal Welfare Policy must be followed at all times.
• When visiting facilities, team members are expected to follow all required safety procedures and wear the appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).

Nice To Haves

• A college degree in poultry science is preferred.
