Senior Solutions Engineer

Synthesia•Austin, TX

About The Position

Synthesia is hiring Senior Solutions Engineers to build its North American pre-sales function, initially focusing on the Mountain, Central, and West regions. This is a founding role in which the hire will help shape the pre-sales playbook, tooling, and best practices as the company scales. The role is ideally based in Austin, where Synthesia has an office, but remote candidates are welcome to apply. The Solutions Engineer partners with Account Executives, Customer Success, and Product Marketing to conduct discovery, deliver demonstrations, scope proofs of concept, and design technical solutions. The role serves as a trusted advisor focused on customer value, while bringing field insights back to Product. The company is expanding across North America and becoming a multi-product company. The position owns sales-cycle activities, including discovery, tailored demonstrations, technical objection handling, stakeholder workshops, and deal strategy in partnership with Account Executives. It develops repeatable demo methods and reusable assets, builds executive-champion relationships, supports POC and pilot readouts, and provides technical guidance on platform capabilities, integrations, security, compliance, and global scalability. The role also develops expertise across Synthesia’s products and relevant industries, and collaborates with Product, Product Marketing, Customer Success, and Enablement on feedback, messaging, handoffs, and team enablement. The stated compensation is $211,197–$257,901 OTE, split 70% base and 30% variable, with the variable portion paid quarterly.
