Senior Software Engineer (Hybrid)

Clutch, Canada's largest online used car retailer, is seeking curious, hard-working, and driven individuals to join their growing team. As a Software Engineer, you will be responsible for writing clean and testable code, collaborating with the team to shape the future of the codebase, and delivering improvements to the online customer experience. With a focus on scalability and security, you will engage in peer review sessions, provide feedback, and lead the complete development lifecycle of projects. This role requires a B.S. degree in Software Engineering or equivalent experience, along with 4+ years of relevant industry experience and proficiency in modern programming languages.

• Write clean, readable, and testable code that adheres to best practices
• Collaborate with the team to design and implement scalable and secure architectures
• Understand stakeholder requirements and improve the online customer experience
• Engage in peer review sessions, provide constructive feedback, and participate in system design discussions
• Lead the development lifecycle of projects, from planning to maintenance
• Ensure project milestones are met and coordinate with cross-functional teams
• Have a B.S. degree in Software Engineering or equivalent experience
• Have 4+ years of relevant industry experience in software development
• Proficiency in one or more modern programming languages
