Senior Software Engineer

Trellis is seeking skilled engineers to join their team and take ownership of projects throughout the development cycle. The role involves identifying opportunities to enhance the quality, stability, and scalability of their systems, which are integrated into major consumer-facing platforms. As a part of this role, individuals will be responsible for planning, development, validation, iteration, and maintenance.

• 4+ years of software development experience in a production environment

• Proven experience working in backend systems (RESTful APIs, datastores)
• Previous experience writing high-quality, effective testing
• Ability to communicate about technical problems and propose solutions
• Ability to work in complex systems that require deep domain context
• Experience working in fast-paced, growing startups
• Familiarity with tech stack (React, Node, TypeScript, Firestore)
• Familiarity with cloud environments, especially the Google Cloud stack
• Prior experience in AdTech or Insurance
