Senior Software Engineer

Trellis is seeking skilled engineers to join their team and take ownership of projects throughout the development cycle. The role involves identifying opportunities to enhance the quality, stability, and scalability of their systems, which are being integrated into major consumer-facing platforms. • 4+ years of software development experience in a production environment
• Strong sense of pride in the quality of work and embracing ownership
• Experience working in backend systems (RESTful APIs, datastores)
• Previous experience writing high-quality, effective testing
• Ability to communicate about technical problems and propose solutions
• Ability to work in complex systems that require deep domain context
• Nice to have: experience working in fast-paced, growing startups
• Nice to have: production experience with React, Node, TypeScript, Firestore
• Nice to have: familiarity with cloud environments, especially the Google Cloud stack
• Nice to have: prior experience in AdTech or Insurance
