About the position
This role is for a results-oriented and ambitious individual with a passion for sales. The job is with Trellis, a leading insurance technology company, and specifically with their growing agency, Savvy. As part of the Sales team, the main focus of this role is to propose risk management strategies that align with each customer's risk profile. The company offers a challenging but supportive environment and rewards top performers with a competitive, uncapped compensation package. The more policies you sell, the more you earn, with top agents easily earning over $100k/year and the best agents earning over $160k.
Responsibilities
- Sell, sell, sell! by delivering best-in-class results consistently
- Bind at least 60 new policies per month
- Bundle 1/3 of homeowner prospects
- Navigate dozens of insurers' products and agent portals to find the best insurance options
- Utilize agency tooling and technology designed to make you more efficient and effective
- Proven track record: you have demonstrated success in achieving and surpassing sales targets in previous roles
- Relentless ambition: you see the upside of working hard and seek an environment that generously rewards top performers
Requirements
- Proven track record of achieving and surpassing sales targets in previous roles
- Relentless ambition and willingness to work hard
- Strong sales and negotiation skills
- Ability to propose risk management strategies that fit the risk profiles of customers
- Familiarity with insurance products and agent portals
- Ability to navigate multiple insurers' products and find the best insurance options
- Efficient and effective utilization of agency tooling and technology
- Ability to sell and deliver best-in-class results consistently
- Ability to bind at least 60 new policies per month
- Ability to bundle 1/3 of homeowner prospects
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
