The Opportunity: We are seeking a strategic, highly creative, and execution-oriented Social Media and Community Manager to lead our social media brand presence and cultivate our online communities. In this role, you will serve as an external voice of Sonatus across our primary channels (LinkedIn, YouTube) and various secondary platforms (Threads, Reddit, X, Instagram). You will partner with the leadership team, PR, and Demand Gen to turn social engagement into measurable awareness, follower growth, and high-quality leads from target passenger and commercial vehicle OEMs and Tier 1s.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in B2B social media and online community management.
  • Experience working with enterprise software content and clients.
  • Demonstrated ability to stay current with social and video trends and translate them into content that aligns with business goals.
  • Hands-on experience with social media management and marketing automation tools.
  • Proficiency in visual design tools to independently create engaging, polished graphics as needed.
  • Exceptional copywriting skills, with the ability to adopt a given speaker’s unique voice and distill complex technical concepts into engaging social content.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience within automotive tech, vehicle manufacturers, or Tier-1 suppliers.
  • Expertise in leveraging social media algorithms, especially LinkedIn and YouTube, for B2B brand growth and lead generation.
  • Hands-on experience with HubSpot, project management tools, and EveryoneSocial (or similar employee advocacy platforms).
  • Experience working with Canva, Adobe Creative Cloud tools, or similar graphic design software.

Responsibilities

  • Management of Branded Social Media Channels: Create and implement comprehensive social media plans that align with business goals. Generate, edit, and publish daily content (text, image, video) that appeals to the target audience. You will refine voice & tone guidelines, refine channel-specific social media strategies, and provide trendspotting and creative recommendations.
  • Community Management: Lead proactive social listening and community management. Review content on social media channels to identify opportunities for engagement. Draft and publish comments/replies. Provide reporting on activity and results.
  • Employee Advocacy: Manage our Employee Advocacy Program. Serve as the platform administrator, publishing shareable posts, onboarding new employees, managing user permissions, and gamifying the experience to encourage participation. Increase employee sharing rates, amplify our brand reach, and drive social selling among our sales and leadership teams.
  • Executive Social Management: Oversee executive social presence by developing tailored content strategies for key Sonatus leaders. You will collaborate with executives to capture their unique voice and industry perspective, draft strategic thought-leadership posts, monitor engagement on their profiles, and proactively suggest relevant industry topics or news for them to comment on or share.
  • Lead Generation & Operations: Utilize CRM and analytics tools to track campaign performance and ensure social efforts are driving measurable KPIs.
