The Social Media & Community Manager role involves creating and sharing scroll-stopping content, managing the development and execution of growth-focused social strategies across multiple platforms, and leading a small team of social media marketers. Reporting to the Director of Brand Marketing, this position is for a master collaborator and storyteller who lives and breathes social media and is excited to scale a brand with strong cultural relevance and continued growth potential.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of social media management experience, ideally with a beauty, skincare, or wellness brand
  • Experience managing social media channels for a consumer-facing brand with at least 100,000 followers
  • Deep understanding of established social media channels, as well as emerging platforms
  • Disruptor mindset, comfortable pushing boundaries and experimenting with new ways of working
  • Excellent communication skills with an ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional partners
  • Experience creating and executing a social strategy that drives increased brand awareness, customer acquisition and community connectivity
  • Successful track record creating organic content that followers save, share and talk about (either personally or professionally)
  • Comfortable in front of and behind the camera
  • Experience managing employees and/or external partners
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Responsibilities

  • Own and evolve our organic social strategy with a clear focus on brand awareness growth (reach, engagement, new followers)
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure social media strategy is closely aligned with core brand values, product positioning, evergreen and seasonal content priorities, and e-commerce growth initiatives
  • Create and manage monthly social media calendars for all Primally Pure organic social channels
  • Oversee the development and execution of content creation, identifying and deploying internal and external resources to ensure consistent flow of high quality, compelling and resonate social content
  • Spot trends early and accurately translate them into content that feels authentic and brand native
  • Maintain a consistent and elevated brand presence while adapting content to feel native to each platform
  • Create and implement extensive testing strategy, reiterate and modify to meet established KPIs
  • Oversee community management, building and nurturing a community of brand obsessed evangelists
  • Identify and utilize emerging social tools and platforms relevant to Primally Pure’s existing and prospective customers
  • Responsible for monitoring and sharing consumer feedback and sentiment to help shape social strategy, as well as overall brand and product strategy
  • Manages, mentors and leads social media team
  • Work closely with Primally Pure Influencer team to amplify content and brand storytelling
  • Responsible for writing and sharing organic social media KPI reporting and performance analysis
