About The Position

This role is for a Senior Site Facilities Manager in the Orthopedics division at Johnson & Johnson, located in Raynham, Massachusetts. The manager will be part of the site leadership team and collaborate with the General Manager and the Facilities Management (FM) organization to implement the global FM strategy. The position ensures the safe and GXP compliant delivery of all facility-related functions, including maintenance, infrastructure, workplace experience, space management, utilities, project delivery, and energy management. The role involves balancing internal employees and service providers. The Senior Site Facilities Manager will also be a peer on the DePuy Ortho Facilities team, aligning site goals with sub-regional objectives and leading the FM organization to become a high-performing team. Requirements

  • MSC or BSC (or equivalent) in Engineering, Facility management or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 8 years’ experience at Site Leadership Level in Facilities / Engineering role.
  • Comprehensive understanding and experience of facilities maintenance.
  • Technical ability to operate as an Engineering Manager.
  • Strong passion for people leadership and development.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure safety and compliance are at the forefront of all Facilities Management activities.
  • Mentor and lead a team of contract resources (engineers, planners, specialists, technicians) to ensure 24/7 continuous operational readiness of the sites.
  • Lead an efficient Utilities/Asset/site Facilities Maintenance Program to sustain targeted facilities equipment availability.
  • Implement business continuity plans, GXP initiatives, energy/sustainability initiatives, and infrastructure management programs.
  • Develop and maintain relevant Critical Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for Facilities and report progress to leadership.
  • Assure accurate documentation of records for facilities department activities.
  • Ensure high standards of safety and environmental processes and systems for internal and external teams.
  • Establish budget and accurate spending projections, lead within capital and operating resources, and identify OPEX and capital spend requirements and savings opportunities.
  • Manage contractors on site through robust collaboration, communication, and governance for service delivery, repairs & maintenance, and facility/grounds agreements.
  • Serve as the Facilities functional leader on the Site Leadership Team (SLT).
  • Build strong business relationships with key stakeholders across site functions to meet Facilities Management goals and support site/Business Unit goals.
  • Build strong working relationships with peers in the sub-region to align site Facilities goals with sub-regional team goals.
  • Effectively navigate, lead, and partner in a matrixed environment.
  • Drive continuous improvement on facility and labor standards.
  • Engage effectively with Government agencies and the local community.
