About The Position

This role is for a Senior ServiceNow Administrator to work with Frontex, with the place of performance at Frontex Headquarters in Warsaw. The position requires 10% onsite work and 90% remote work, with candidates needing to be based within two hours of Warsaw. The mission duration is 50 months. The role involves ensuring the security, availability, and functionality of the ServiceNow platform, managing its development and bug fixing, and overseeing the platform throughout its lifecycle. It also includes providing ServiceNow demos and trainings, assessing customer expectations, gathering and analyzing business needs, translating requirements into technical solutions, and presenting these solutions. The position supports project management for ServiceNow implementations and improvements, provides recommendations, assists in solution architecture design, and supports other teams in areas like risk management and security. Maintaining up-to-date documentation is also a key responsibility. For an ADVANCED profile, team management and task coordination are required. Travel is not typically foreseen but may be exceptionally requested.

Requirements

  • Minimum level of education: Level 4.
  • Minimum English language skills (CEFR): B2.
  • Minimum IT relevant professional experience (years): 5 years.
  • Minimum experience at similar position (years): 2 years in relevant IT roles.
  • ServiceNow Certified Application Developer certification or equivalent.
  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator certification or equivalent.
  • Excellent practical hands-on experience administering and maintaining ServiceNow platform (experience with on-prem will be advantageous).
  • Excellent practical hands-on experience configuring ServiceNow platform (ITSM and others).
  • Practical knowledge of MariaDB management.
  • Excellent practical hands-on experience with requirements gathering, analysis and project management.
  • Excellent practical knowledge of ServiceNow products portfolio.
  • Excellent practical knowledge of Service Management.
  • Knowledge of key technologies for ServiceNow integration (Web Services, SSO, LDAP, REST, etc.).
  • Well understanding of complex information systems and their interoperability.
  • Knowledge of IT security standards.
  • Very strong sense of responsibility.

Responsibilities

  • Ensuring ServiceNow platform security, availability, functionality and development in cooperation with ServiceNow Architect and ServiceNow Developers.
  • Managing and overseeing ServiceNow development and bugs fixing.
  • Managing ServiceNow platform through the complete lifecycle.
  • Providing ServiceNow demos and trainings to the end users and support teams.
  • Assessing internal customers’ expectations related with the use of ServiceNow platform.
  • Gathering, analysing and assessing business needs and users’ requirements.
  • Translating business requirements into optimal technical solutions.
  • Ensuring that proposed solutions are in line with business requirements and architecture design.
  • Presenting proposed technical solutions to different types of audience.
  • Supervising implementation of organizational wide service management capabilities based on ServiceNow.
  • Supervising ServiceNow development and improvement projects in close cooperation with ServiceNow Architect and ServiceNow Developers.
  • Providing recommendations to business requirements and technical designs.
  • Supporting ServiceNow Architect and ServiceNow Developers in designing of solution architecture and development.
  • Supporting other teams in risk management, disaster recovery, security management, etc.
  • Maintaining up to date solution documentation including technical documentation, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), user manuals, knowledge base articles etc.
  • Team management and tasks coordination (for ADVANCED profile).
