About The Position

This is an autonomous, internal technical role focused on end-to-end client SEO and web development. The position has no client-facing meetings and centers on technical execution, automation, and performance. The role is remote from South Africa, with a schedule aligned to US Eastern Time business hours. It is a full-time contractor position.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of local SEO experience, including direct experience driving local lead generation; experience with home services or local service businesses is preferred.
• Proven ability to build and deploy fast, custom websites from scratch using tools such as Astro, static generators, and modern hosting such as Cloudflare, rather than off-the-shelf templates.
• Active daily use of LLMs and AI coding tools such as Claude, Cursor, ChatGPT, or Copilot to ship work faster.
• Ability to troubleshoot technical roadblocks independently without hand-holding.
• Dedicated focus during US business hours, with no moonlighting or juggling other full-time roles.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end local SEO campaigns, including Google Business Profile optimization, local citations, technical audits, on-page optimization, and location page architecture.
• Build and maintain high-speed websites using modern static architectures and web tooling, including Astro and Cloudflare.
• Use AI tools to automate reporting, audits, content pipelines, and internal micro-tools.
• Document processes and turn successful strategies into actionable playbooks to support scaling.
• Build automated dashboards and provide direct, data-backed written updates on organic performance.
