About the position
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sr. Salesforce Administrator to join our Business Enablement team. As the Sr. Salesforce Administrator, you will play a crucial role in the ongoing development of our salesforce.com deployments. This role will require you to work closely with functional business leaders, organizational units, and subject matter experts to identify, develop, and deploy new business processes across various departments.
Responsibilities
- Serve on a team of Salesforce system administrators for the Salesforce.com environment, supporting over 500 users.
- Handle all basic administrative functions, including user account maintenance, reports and dashboards, workflows, and other routine tasks.
- Conduct regular internal system audits and prepare for upgrades.
- Manage Salesforce.com data feeds and other integrations, coordinating with the development team to build new system integrations.
- Coordinate the evaluation, scope, and completion of new project requests in collaboration with business owners.
- Work with the operational management team to establish processes to support administrative, development, and change management activities.
- Assist in training new users and promote Salesforce.com skill development across the organization.
- Act as the liaison between users, vendors, and application development teams.
- Work independently with members of the user community to define and document development requirements.
Requirements
- Hybrid role with in-office presence required Tuesday-Thursday
- Must be in or near one of the office locations (Charlotte, NC; Denver, CO; or Seattle, WA) or have plans to relocate
- Minimum 4 years of experience as a Salesforce.com administrator
- Salesforce Administrator, Platform App Builder, and Advanced Admin certified
- Salesforce Lightning, Sales Cloud, and Service Cloud experience required, some Marketing Cloud experience preferred
- Experience with data migration using dataloader and Demand Tools preferred
- Strong understanding of the platform, with the ability to build custom apps and objects, formula fields, workflows, custom views, and other intermediate complexity content
- Strong data management abilities
- A documented history of successfully driving projects to completion
- A demonstrated ability to understand and articulate complex requirements
- Previous experience working in a SCRUM or agile environment preferred
- Excellent time management skills and a positive attitude
- Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and prioritize simultaneous requests
- Creative and analytical thinker with strong problem-solving skills
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization
- Strong collaboration and teamwork skills, with the ability to effectively work with cross-functional teams including developers, business stakeholders, and executive leadership
- Ability to critically evaluate information, reconcile conflicts, and distinguish user requests from underlying needs
- Strong commitment to continuous learning, staying up-to-date with the latest Salesforce releases, features, and best practices
- Ability to assess the impact of new requirements on Salesforce.com and other applications, systems, and processes
- Intermediate knowledge of Salesforce Flow Builder, including the ability to design and implement complex flows to automate business processes.
