About The Position

Capgemini is hiring an experienced Business Development Executive to develop new business in the Retail Automotive, Supply Chain, Logistics, and Transportation industries. The role focuses on sourcing, qualifying, pursuing, and closing complex enterprise sales opportunities for IT and business-related services, including end-to-end solutions and professional services. The successful candidate will own a territory or portfolio, meet annual minimum quota expectations, and operate with substantial autonomy while drawing on Capgemini’s sales, solution, delivery, executive, marketing, and partner teams. This is a hunter role centered on generating organic revenue growth, developing strategic relationships with senior and C-suite client executives, and positioning enterprise solutions in line with client priorities. The BDE leads sales strategy and client discussions, qualifies opportunities, manages the pipeline and forecast, negotiates commercial terms, and drives contracts through execution. The role emphasizes value-based selling, long-term trusted-advisor relationships, and pursuing large or strategic deals while being prepared to walk away from unqualified opportunities. The position is based in the Metro Detroit area; candidates must be local or willing to relocate and able to travel and work in an office as required. The posted base compensation range is $93,497–$233,248. The position may also be eligible for variable incentives, bonuses, or commissions. Capgemini states that regular, full-time employees receive a benefits package that may include paid time off, company holidays, personal days, sick leave, medical, dental and vision coverage, retirement savings plans, life and disability insurance, and employee assistance programs, subject to local policy and eligibility.
