Requirements

  • 3+ years of sales experience
  • Intermediate level of proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Strong communications skills
  • History of attaining goals

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain relationships with assigned Optum customers
  • Ensure renewal of current customers within assigned territory
  • Cross-sell new products to current customers within assigned territory
  • Generate qualified leads for other Optum product lines
  • Work with assigned customers to understand customer needs and provide solutions to customer problems
  • Work with Sales Manager to improve sales skills and ensure that productivity and other metrics are maintained
  • Collaborate with other Sales Account Managers to share best practices
  • Work with Product Management, Data Integrity, Customer Service and other internal departments to resolve customer issues
