About The Position

The Temporary Senior Sales Manager will generate and manage group sales for DoubleTree by Hilton and Embassy Suites Crystal City, helping deliver memorable guest experiences. The role focuses on generating new business, building client relationships, developing sales strategies, leading the sales process from prospecting through contract execution, coordinating booking details, and supervising and supporting team members.

Responsibilities

• Research, prospect, and qualify leads through proactive outreach and database mining to generate new business and exceed lead-generation goals.
• Serve as the primary contact for assigned market segments, maintaining existing accounts and developing new relationships to grow room revenue and profitability.
• Analyze hotel and market trends to create and execute business plans and marketing initiatives that capture demand and meet sales goals.
• Prepare proposals, conduct site visits, negotiate terms, and secure contracts tailored to client needs while maximizing revenue.
• Coordinate customer requirements for rooms, food and beverage, and meeting space, and enter account and reservation information accurately and promptly in the hotel's sales management system.
• Supervise and support team members, monitor performance, provide coaching, and foster a positive and productive work environment.
