About The Position

Precisely is the leader in data integrity, empowering businesses to make more confident decisions based on trusted data through a unique combination of software, data enrichment products, and strategic services. This role is for a Senior Sales Engineer who will join an AI-first organization, expected to demonstrate proficiency in applying AI tools to accelerate work, improve output quality, and eliminate low-value tasks. Candidates should be comfortable using generative AI tools and critically evaluating AI-generated outputs. The position is 100% remote anywhere in the US. The Sales Engineering team drives and manages the technology evaluation stages of a sales process, liaising with various teams to remove sales barriers. This role will primarily serve the Precisely’s Americas sales organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelors in computer science, Information Technology or other relevant Engineering/technical branch of academics
  • 5+ years of experience in any of the following functions: presales or customer success or product management or professional services or engineering or technical support
  • 4+ years of experience developing solutions using Scala, Python, JAVA, Spark frameworks in environments like Databricks.
  • Proven relationship management experience, with the ability to communicate with, present to, and influence both technical and operational stakeholders all the way up to the C-Suite.
  • Hands-on experience with Cloud environments for example - AWS, MS Azure
  • Demonstrable experience with SAAS architecture and Cloud Computing

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with data management (Data Quality, Data Governance, Data Integration, MDM) tools and solutions would be a plus
  • Demonstrable experience with Generative AI is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Participate in all aspects of the sales process to interpret and address client requirements with an innovative and collaborative mindset.
  • Perform technical and business value discovery with customers from all verticals and industries to identify pain points and possible solutions.
  • Present the value of the Precisely solution to clients in various stages of the sales cycle through custom demos, workshops, proof of concepts/value, pilot projects, and assisted trials.
  • Build solution demonstrations using the modern tech stack, perform pilots and POCs in complex multi-cloud environments, potentially involving APIs, SDKs, and Precisely data.
  • Provide consultative solutions spanning multiple business units and technology domains, acting as trusted advisors for strategic customer projects like Digital transformation and Last Mile delivery.
  • Improve the efficiency of the presales team by contributing to reusable demos, documents, and other assets.
  • Be a Precisely brand ambassador at trade shows, conferences, and other marketing events, preparing, building, and delivering relevant assets.
