Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience in RF circuit design and development
- RF circuit design in the 7 GHz to 30 GHz range.
- Designing, manufacturing and testing analog devices such as amplifiers, filters, transmission lines, PCB structures and PCB to waveguide transitions.
- A wide range of analog RF components including LNAs, SSPAs, local oscillators, mixers, filters, drivers, power divider / combiners, switches, and attenuators.
- Common RF design tools such as HFSS, Keysight ADS and best design practices for RF PCBs
- BS or higher in electrical engineering.
- U.S. citizen, a lawful permanent resident (green card holder), or have refugee/asylee status.
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of antennas, satellite communications and link budget analysis is a plus but not required
Responsibilities
- Participate in the development of an RF printed circuit that forms the heart of a communications satellite payload, with a focus on amplifiers, filtering and PCB structures.
- Alongside a team of experienced engineers, collaborate with a nimble team, including design reviews, following best practices and procedures.
