Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience in retail media or commerce media, including hands-on ownership of self-service retail media networks.
  • Demonstrated depth in Walmart Connect and/or Target Roundel (TPA/self-service); experience across two or more relevant platforms is a significant advantage.
  • Strong command of budget management, including pacing, caps, flighting, invoice reconciliation, and spend or billing discrepancy resolution.
  • Experience leading client-facing communications, performance readouts, recommendations, and expectation management.
  • Ability to own the client and campaign operating rhythm, connect platform activity to client objectives, and lead client conversations.
  • Experience managing, mentoring, or directing junior team members, including delegating work, reviewing output, and developing people.
  • Demonstrated senior-level self-direction, including setting plans, executing workstreams, and reporting progress.
  • Exceptional organization across campaigns, budgets, timelines, and client deliverables, supported by structured trackers, documented processes, and clean campaign taxonomies.
  • Advanced Excel and analytical skills, including turning platform exports into executive-ready insights.
  • Based in the US and available during core US business hours.

Nice To Haves

  • Criteo self-service experience.
  • Experience with Amazon Ads, Instacart, Kroger Precision Marketing, CitrusAd, or Home Depot's Orange Apron Media.
  • Familiarity with Skai, Pacvue, or a similar retail media management platform.
  • Experience managing Walmart Connect or Roundel through a major tentpole event at meaningful spend levels.
  • Experience with retailer credit and make-good processes or platform outage remediation.
  • Experience working with distributed or offshore execution teams.
  • Experience with reporting and visualization tools such as Tableau or Looker.
  • Category experience in home care, home appliances, or durable goods.
  • Familiarity with retail media measurement nuances, including attribution windows, in-store versus online attribution, and dual-seat or duplication risk.
  • Central or Eastern time zone availability is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Own multi-retailer platform strategy and execution, including campaign architecture, keyword and targeting strategy, bidding, budget pacing, cross-retailer allocation, performance analysis, and tentpole planning.
  • Translate retailer-specific results into portfolio-level insights, budget recommendations, incrementality perspectives, and category and competitive context.
  • Lead the operating rhythm for assigned platforms, including setting agendas, presenting performance and recommendations, flagging risks, and following through on commitments.
  • Govern budgets through pacing, spend caps, flight dating, billing reconciliation, and resolution or escalation of discrepancies, outages, and attribution gaps.
  • Lead make-good and credit conversations with retailer partners.
  • Build relationships with Walmart Connect, Roundel, and Criteo partner teams to secure support, access betas, and resolve issues.
  • Manage, coach, and develop Associates and Senior Associates; set priorities, review work, and provide regular feedback.
  • Document campaign structures, naming conventions, QA checklists, and optimization cadences; set quality standards for the team and offshore execution partners.
  • Contribute to annual and quarterly planning, new product launch support plans, and test-and-learn roadmaps with account leadership.
