About The Position

As a Senior Quotations Specialist, you will manage the quotations process from receiving a request through submitting a quote to the customer. You will communicate with Graybar sales representatives, customer service representatives, customers, and manufacturer representatives to gather details needed to create quotations. You will learn Graybar’s product lines, pricing mechanics, and computer systems to provide quotations that result in profitable sales for the Company.

The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The expected starting pay is $26.26 per hour, depending on experience. Graybar describes its employee ownership culture as collaborative and inclusive, with opportunities for employees to grow, learn, and contribute.

Requirements

• Customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines.
• High school education.

Nice To Haves

• Six or more years of experience preferred.
• A four-year degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare cost estimates of material.
• Contact factories and representatives to obtain cost information.
• Work with sales representatives and customer service representatives.
• Build relationships with customers and suppliers to provide on-time and accurate quotations.
• Compare manufacturers’ bills of material to determine and price differences for complete comparisons.
