About The Position

RWS is seeking a Seattle/Redmond-based Client Engagement Manager with localization experience to support a strategic enterprise account. The role is suited to someone with a strong localization program management foundation who is ready to grow into a more client-facing, commercially focused account role. It helps strengthen RWS’s local client presence, build stakeholder relationships, identify opportunities, and support growth within an existing enterprise account. The position works closely with Account Leadership, Delivery, Operations, Solutions, Finance, and AI/Technology teams to connect client needs with RWS services and solutions. It bridges account management and program management, with a focus on relationship-building, discovery, opportunity development, and client confidence rather than traditional sales or pure delivery. RWS is a global AI solutions company that provides localization, global content, enterprise knowledge, and IP protection services. Its Transform division helps large enterprises communicate with global audiences through language technology, AI-driven solutions, and expert services. The position is based in the Seattle/Redmond area and is remote, with onsite client meetings as needed. Compensation is listed at $100,000–$130,000 per year. The role supports client relationship-building and discovery, account growth and retention, operational alignment, commercial awareness, and discussions about AI, localization, and content strategy.

Requirements

  • 10 or more years of experience in localization account management, sales, globalization, content operations, or language services.
  • Experience in account management, business development, sales support, or commercial operations, with the ability to identify client needs, support opportunity development, and contribute to account growth.
  • Experience in a client-facing role, ideally within an LSP, enterprise localization team, or global content environment.
  • A proven track record of growing or expanding a book of business within a complex enterprise account, especially during organizational change, budget pressure, AI disruption, or shifting client priorities.
  • Strong understanding of localization workflows, including translation, review, quality, multimedia, DTP, engineering, and content operations.
  • Experience working with cross-functional global teams.
  • Ability to build trusted client relationships and communicate confidently with stakeholders at multiple levels.
  • Strong organizational skills, follow-through, and ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Commercial curiosity and interest in account growth, opportunity development, and client expansion.
  • Must be based in the Seattle/Redmond area and able to attend onsite client meetings as needed.
  • Relationship-driven, naturally curious, and comfortable starting conversations and building trust with new stakeholders.
  • Commercially minded without being overly salesy, with a strong localization and operational foundation.
  • Able to connect client pain points to potential solutions; proactive, organized, and comfortable with ambiguity.
  • Strong communicator who can simplify complex topics.
  • Collaborative and low-ego, with the ability to work across delivery, finance, solutions, and account teams.
  • Comfortable in an evolving role that may require both strategic and hands-on support.

  • Exposure to account management, business development, sales support, or commercial operations.
