About The Position

Qdrant is hiring a Senior Product Marketing Manager to join its Product Marketing team. The role reports to the Director of Product Marketing and works closely with DevRel, Growth, Sales, Partnerships, and Product. The manager will shape product positioning across the customer journey, from developers evaluating the open-source engine and trying Qdrant Cloud through paid upgrades, production deployments, and enterprise sales. Messaging and tools should support discovery and evaluation in AI chats and coding agents as well as sales conversations. The role owns messaging for the self-serve-to-sales path; buyer scenarios for key use cases; competitive research and enablement; a customer win/loss program; AI workflows that help sales and solutions teams access relevant materials; and launch messaging for Qdrant releases. Qdrant is a remote-first, international, engineering-driven company building open-source vector search infrastructure for AI applications.

Requirements

  • At least 6 years of product marketing experience, including at least 4 years on a developer-facing or data infrastructure product such as databases, search, APIs, cloud infrastructure, or AI/ML tooling.
  • Experience owning product marketing for an enterprise-led sales motion, ideally at an open-source product company, including activation, upgrades, and handoff to sales-assisted deals; able to identify metrics moved.
  • Experience at a startup or scale-up, owning a product marketing area end to end without an established playbook or supporting team.
  • Experience building sales enablement that changed how a team sold, and comfort participating in customer calls and working with account executives.
  • Technical fluency sufficient to run a quick start, read code samples, and explain trade-offs between keyword, vector, and hybrid search.
  • Experience building AI tools used by others, with the judgment to recognize inaccurate or overly verbose output.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working alongside a DevRel team and understanding the distinction between product marketing and developer advocacy.
  • Experience with partner and cloud marketplace marketing, such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.

Responsibilities

  • Own messaging across the self-serve-to-sales journey, including developer evaluation, paid Qdrant Cloud upgrades, and engineering-leader discussions.
  • Develop buyer scenarios for key entry points, such as moving a self-hosted cluster to Qdrant Cloud, replacing legacy keyword search, and adding retrieval to an AI agent; deliver messaging, proof points, and usable assets.
  • Run the competitive program, including comparisons, battlecards, and objection handling, keeping materials current and supporting claims with benchmarks, customers, or working demos.
  • Design and run a win/loss program by interviewing customers and account executives, and use findings to update messaging, pricing page copy, and product feedback.
  • Build AI workflows, including Claude skills and a research loop, so account executives and solutions engineers can access relevant talk tracks, comparisons, messaging, and case studies, and insights from calls and interviews can update assets.
  • Develop launch messaging for Qdrant releases in collaboration with Product, DevRel, and Growth, reaching developers through docs and community and buyers through sales.

Benefits

  • Competitive salary with additional perks.
  • Flexible working hours and an async-friendly culture.
  • Choice of laptop equipment.
  • For US-based full-time employees: comprehensive benefits package including 401(k) match, health, dental, and vision insurance, plus flexible PTO.
