About The Position

The Senior Product Marketing Manager, Competitive Intelligence role is part of Microsoft Security’s Security Compete team, which turns competitive evidence into product and go-to-market decisions, positioning, and field guidance. The role focuses on modern application security, AI code security, and code-to-cloud capabilities. It helps position application and code security as part of Microsoft’s end-to-end security offering by connecting risk and remediation from development through runtime. The role tracks competitive developments across application security, application security posture management (ASPM), cloud-native application protection platforms (CNAPP), and software supply chain security, including the use of AI to discover, validate, and fix vulnerabilities. It translates evidence from customer evaluations, win/loss analysis, field feedback, market research, and analyst input into recommendations on product investment, gaps, and differentiation. It also develops technical and seller-facing materials for competitive evaluations and supports priority deals. AI-assisted work is used to keep pace with the market, with accountability for accuracy.
