About The Position

AXS is seeking a Senior Product Manager to own the end-to-end strategy and execution of its Resale platform. The role leads the core marketplace engine that powers secondary ticketing across the AXS ecosystem, including resale listings ingestion and distribution, inventory and pricing services, event and venue data models, partner and marketplace integrations, public-facing APIs, and platform services connecting fan demand with resale supply. The position balances platform scalability, data integrity, marketplace health, and delivery velocity while evolving the platform to support new partners, markets, and fan experiences. The Senior Product Manager partners with Engineering, Architecture, Data, Payments, Partner Experience, and business stakeholders to deliver a scalable and reliable resale platform. The product leader translates ambiguous problems into requirements, roadmaps, and delivered software, guiding engineering teams on domain and data modeling, API and data contract design, distributed systems, event-driven architectures, and platform integrations. The role also leads modernization of legacy resale and listing systems while maintaining marketplace continuity, and uses measurable business and marketplace outcomes to guide product decisions.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of Product Management experience delivering complex software products in Agile environments.
  • Demonstrated success owning technical products, platforms, APIs, SDKs, integrations, or enterprise software solutions.
  • Experience partnering closely with engineering teams to deliver platform, integration, or infrastructure-adjacent products in modern distributed architectures.
  • Experience supporting mission-critical workflows where reliability, scalability, performance, and resiliency are essential.
  • Familiarity with event-driven architectures, distributed systems, operational telemetry, observability, and data-driven product decision-making.
  • Ability to understand complex ecosystems spanning modern platforms, legacy systems, integrations, and operational processes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including defining ambiguous problems, synthesizing data, and delivering measurable outcomes.
  • Ability to balance customer needs, business objectives, and technical constraints while driving product strategy and execution.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including influencing and aligning technical and non-technical stakeholders across organizational boundaries.
  • Systems-thinking and a platform-oriented mindset, connecting business processes, technical systems, operational workflows, and customer experiences to build scalable solutions.
  • Curiosity, a data-driven approach, comfort in complex environments, and a bias toward continuous improvement, experimentation, and measurable outcomes.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Background building platform products that enable external partners through APIs, SDKs, integrations, or developer ecosystems.
  • Track record of modernizing legacy operational systems while balancing migration risk, business continuity, and long-term platform evolution.
  • Familiarity with software-plus-hardware ecosystems, including mobile applications, hardware integrations, edge devices, or operational technology environments.
  • Understanding of service reliability, operational readiness, performance objectives, and incident management practices.
  • Ability to design configurable platform capabilities for regional variation while maintaining a scalable core product.
  • Exposure to complex global organizations and products serving multiple international markets.
  • Domain expertise in live entertainment, ticketing, venue operations, access control, identity, payments, transportation, hospitality, logistics, or other operationally intensive industries.

Responsibilities

  • Define product vision, roadmap, and priorities for the core Resale platform engine across the AXS ecosystem.
  • Balance scalability, reliability, modernization, and marketplace growth when setting platform priorities.
  • Own platform capabilities delivered through APIs, data contracts, integrations, event-driven services, and backend systems for resale listings, inventory, and pricing.
  • Lead systems and domain modeling for events, venues, seating, listings, inventory, and transactions.
  • Lead day-to-day product work with Engineering, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, technical requirements, acceptance criteria, and delivery.
  • Partner with Engineering and Architecture to define API standards, service-level objectives, reliability goals, and operational readiness standards.
  • Use marketplace metrics, platform telemetry, observability, and performance data to drive product decisions.
  • Own capacity planning and delivery sequencing with engineering leadership, managing dependencies across onshore and offshore teams.
  • Partner with Partner Experience to prepare platform capabilities, APIs, and integrations for external partner and developer adoption.
  • Identify and prioritize improvements that reduce technical debt, data quality issues, and integration friction across the resale ecosystem.
  • Develop a deep understanding of secondary ticketing, marketplace supply and demand, and resale workflows.
  • Lead modernization of legacy resale and listing systems while maintaining marketplace continuity.
  • Define and monitor KPIs for platform reliability, data quality, listing coverage, performance, and delivery predictability.
  • Communicate roadmap, risks, priorities, and outcomes to technical teams, business stakeholders, and executive leadership.
  • Build alignment across stakeholder groups and influence decisions using data-driven insights and customer understanding.
