•$77,200 - $187,000

About The Position

Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) is seeking an Outbound Product Manager to help customers understand and adopt its Container Services portfolio, including Oracle Kubernetes Engine (OKE), Container Instances, and Functions. The role connects service capabilities into clear customer use cases, communicates architectural and business value, and helps customers select solutions suited to their workloads. This individual-contributor role owns outbound programs across the portfolio. Working with service product managers, engineering, product marketing, solutions architects, and field teams, the Product Manager develops positioning, coordinates launches, delivers enablement, and executes adoption programs. The role also brings customer and competitive insights to product teams and translates market needs into actionable recommendations. The position generally accepts applications for at least three calendar days from the posting date or while the job remains posted. Oracle’s onboarding process requires U.S.-based employees to complete identity verification involving the collection and processing of biometric information, subject to applicable law and possible accommodations following an individualized assessment.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in product management, technical product marketing, solutions architecture, or related cloud technology roles.
  • Strong technical understanding of Kubernetes, containers, serverless applications, and cloud infrastructure.
  • Familiarity with DevOps workflows, security, networking, and cloud economics.
  • Experience executing product launches, technical go-to-market programs, field enablement, or customer adoption initiatives.
  • Ability to turn complex capabilities into clear positioning, presentations, solution briefs, and customer-facing technical content.
  • Strong customer research and analytical skills, including experience using market feedback, adoption data, or competitive evaluations to guide decisions.
  • Ability to independently manage workstreams, coordinate across teams, and deliver results through clear communication and influence.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a cohesive customer narrative across OKE, Container Instances, and Functions, explaining target workloads, service selection, differentiation, and complementary use cases.
  • Translate product priorities into technical go-to-market plans for target audiences, customer use cases, and adoption opportunities; develop value propositions, technical messaging, and supporting business cases tied to customer outcomes.
  • Coordinate outbound readiness for new capabilities and portfolio initiatives, aligning messaging, documentation, demonstrations, field communications, and enablement with availability and launch milestones.
  • Create presentations, solution briefs, competitive guidance, sales plays, and objection-handling materials; collaborate with solutions architects on demonstrations and architecture examples, and deliver training to support opportunity qualification and customer evaluations.
  • Execute workshops, onboarding initiatives, and targeted customer adoption programs that encourage progression from interest to evaluation and production use; identify recurring adoption barriers and coordinate improvements.
  • Gather customer, competitive, win/loss, and partner insights; maintain practical guidance on architectural tradeoffs, operational considerations, and total cost of ownership.
  • Consolidate recurring customer needs, capability gaps, and adoption friction into business-impact-supported recommendations; partner with service product managers to inform priorities and communicate product improvements to field teams.
  • Track program effectiveness using agreed measures such as field readiness, qualified evaluations, evaluation-to-production conversion, active usage, and workload expansion; use results to improve content, enablement, and adoption programs.
