About The Position

Vanta is hiring a Senior Product Manager for its new GRC Platform team, which builds foundational capabilities that help mid-market and enterprise customers operate their governance, risk, and compliance programs efficiently and at scale. The role owns core platform capabilities and primitives used across Vanta’s GRC product, including search, imports, exports, custom fields, and approval workflows. The position will evolve these capabilities into more flexible, automated, adaptive, and intelligent agentic experiences that reduce customer effort and cognitive load. The successful candidate will own the GRC Platform strategy and roadmap, turn complex problems into prioritized goals, and work with stakeholders across the company to deliver high-quality products. They will partner with GRC teams to understand customer needs, identify opportunities for platform leverage, lead AI-first product redesigns, define model evaluation criteria, and manage transitions from legacy experiences to agent-led workflows. The role also contributes to shaping Vanta’s product team culture as the organization grows.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of product management experience, including at least 2 years in a platform or horizontal product role at a B2B SaaS company.
  • Demonstrated experience building shared platform primitives or capabilities adopted by multiple product and engineering teams.
  • Ability to influence and align multiple squads without direct authority and create clarity across complex stakeholder groups.
  • Technical depth and comfort with backend-heavy infrastructure, architectural trade-offs, API standards, and data model decisions.
  • Ability to lead AI-first product redesigns and define model evaluation criteria for experiences such as imports, search, or structured agent workflows.
  • Ability to define and track adoption rates, quality signals, and business impact for platform investments.
  • Experience working with enterprise customer segments of 10,000 or more employees and translating their feedback into platform-level priorities.
  • Learner’s mindset, genuine interest in building AI products, and willingness to experiment, iterate, and fail.
  • Openness to using AI to amplify skills and improve work, with curiosity, willingness to learn, and sound judgment in applying AI responsibly.
