Senior Product Manager - Vendor Relations

KPI Solutions•Cincinnati, OH

About The Position

The Senior Product Manager – Vendor Relations owns product strategy and roadmaps for a portfolio of material handling and warehouse automation solutions, with primary emphasis on managing and growing OEM, technology, and equipment vendor relationships. The role also owns software integration requirements that enable vendor hardware and software to work reliably across company and customer systems, including API contracts, data exchange standards, and technical acceptance criteria. Serving as a strategic and technical bridge among Engineering, IT, Sales, Operations, and external partners, this position ensures product commitments align with vendor capabilities, integration feasibility, contract terms, and long-term partnership health. The role combines product management fundamentals with vendor ecosystem management and technical fluency in software integration, including APIs, data interfaces, and middleware. The position defines product roadmaps for assigned material handling and automation solution lines, manages vendor partnerships and commercial relationships, and supports cross-functional teams through proposals, deployments, integration standards, and internal training. The Technical Product Owner performs day-to-day integration testing and maintains the integration playbook; this role oversees that work and reviews its assessments.
