Senior Product Designer - SF

Sigma is seeking a talented designer to join their growing product design team. The designer will be responsible for UI/UX design for the Sigma product, working with a team of designers to make data analytics highly usable and easily accessible to non-technical users. The ideal candidate will have strong interaction design fundamentals, a proven track record of designing successful software, and the ability to think about entire systems. They should also have exceptional communication skills and experience with Sketch or Figma. • UI/UX design for Sigma product
• Working with a talented team of data obsessed people to iterate, learn, grow, and ship value to customers
• Creating simple and elegant designs that delight business users as they explore data and generate insights
• Owning substantial pieces of the product from design concept to release
• Actively seeking end-user product feedback and collaborating with PM, research, customer success, and support teams to improve product adoption and utilization
• Demonstrating strong interaction design fundamentals with a flair for visual appeal
• Having 7+ years of experience in interaction design
• Proven track record of designing commercially successful, world-class software
• Capable of working autonomously, leading complex design projects, and delivering high-quality design solutions
• Capable of rapid iteration, feedback cycles, and experimentation, incorporating customer feedback
• Ability to think about entire systems and design the big picture while breaking it down for incremental building
• Exceptional facilitation, communication, and presentation skills to explain design decisions to anyone in the company
• Bachelor or Masters with specialization in HCI or Interaction Design
• Expert level Sketch or Figma skills
• Startup experience
• Strong portfolio showcasing product design work with an emphasis on interaction design
• Demonstrating system-wide thinking, breadth, and depth in interactive design skills through successfully released designs
• Showcasing the process and progressive evolution of designs, including the business problem, constraints, assumptions, and significant iterations leading to the final product
• Designs that further company objectives while meeting user needs

• 7+ years experience of interaction design
• Proven track record of designing commercially successful, world-class software
• Capable of working autonomously, leading complex design projects and delivering high quality design solutions
• Capable of rapid iteration, feedback cycles, and experimentation. Seeks understanding of customer needs and the ability to assess and incorporate their feedback
• Demonstrable ability to think about entire systems, with the vision to design the big picture, and the tactical ability to break it down so that engineering can succeed in building it incrementally
• Exceptional facilitation, communication and presentation skills; demonstrating the ability to clearly explain design decisions to anyone in the company
• Bachelor or Masters with specialization in HCI or Interaction Design
• Expert level Sketch or Figma skills
