About The Position

GlobalFoundries Fab 8 is seeking an experienced professional to support its 300mm semiconductor process integration team. The team owns process integration across development, customer engagement, and production. The role focuses on developing and delivering advanced technology for mass production and supporting technology development, sustainment, and improvement using a balanced scorecard approach that considers quality, cost, and delivery.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with at least 2 years, master’s degree with at least 1 year, or PhD with 1 year of relevant work experience.
• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Solid State Physics, or another relevant engineering or physical science discipline.
• Experience leading engineering teams and developing and delivering advanced technology for mass production.
• Strong project management skills, particularly managing project schedules, scope, and cost trade-offs.
• Excellent oral and written interpersonal skills.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in FEOL/BEOL processes with FinFET and FDSOI technology.
• Strong background in FEOL/MOL/BEOL process development and characterization.
• Results-oriented approach and focus on quality of work.
• Structured problem-solving skills and knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles.
• Ability to work effectively and efficiently with diverse teams, clients, and internal and external partners.
• Strong presentation and technical writing skills.
• Self-starter with high motivation to succeed in a fast-paced, challenging professional environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop silicon photonics processes across technologies including RF, FinFET, FDSOI, and eNVM.
• Collaborate with process module and packaging teams to drive process solutions.
• Work with TD and BU teams to oversee project scope and ensure technical needs are addressed.
• Drive technology cost reduction, process convergence, and yield improvement.
• Perform activities safely and responsibly and support Environmental, Health, Safety, and Security requirements and programs.
