About The Position

Keysight is hiring a Silicon Photonic Parametric Test Solution Engineer to support the ramp-up of European customers in silicon photonic manufacturing. The role is home-office based and covers the Grenoble area. Working with Account Management and Product Development, the engineer designs and proposes technical solutions that address customer requirements for manufacturing parametric test using Keysight’s portfolio. Solutions may combine hardware configuration, software, consulting, and training for major semiconductor front-end fabrication customers in Europe. The engineer serves as the primary technical contact for customers, jointly defining suitable solutions and supporting delivery and customer ramp-up across semiconductor technologies and applications, including silicon, wide-bandgap technologies such as SiC and GaN, silicon photonics, and measurements involving NVRAM and MRAM. The work may include developing test plans and transferring technology from R&D to volume manufacturing. The engineer collaborates with Product Management, Service and Support, and Sales, and shares responsibility for introducing and driving adoption of new product introductions (NPI).

  • At least 5 years of experience in the semiconductor or test and measurement market.
  • Experience in silicon photonic device characterization.
  • Solid experience with front-end-fab parametric-test measurements, including algorithm development, throughput optimization, and factory automation.
  • Competence and experience in C, C++, and Python.
  • Proficiency in French and English.
  • Ability to work in a multicultural environment and build and present solutions to audiences including management, technical end users, and purchasing teams.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Keysight manufacturing parametric test platforms such as 4080 and P9002A, including SPECS and SPECS-FA software.
