About The Position

GlobalFoundries Fab 8 is seeking an experienced professional to support its 300mm semiconductor process integration team. The team owns process integration from development and customer engagement through production. The role focuses on developing and delivering advanced technology for mass production and applying technical knowledge of various processes while balancing quality, cost, and delivery.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s, master’s, or Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Solid State Physics, or another relevant engineering or physical science discipline.
• At least 6 years of work experience in a relevant field.
• Experience leading engineering teams and developing and delivering advanced technology for mass production.
• Strong project management skills, particularly in managing project schedules, scope, and cost trade-offs.
• Excellent oral and written interpersonal skills.

Nice To Haves

• Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Solid State Physics, or another relevant engineering or physical science discipline, with 1 year of relevant work experience.
• Experience with FEOL/BEOL processes and Planar, FinFET, and FDSOI technologies.
• Results-oriented, with a focus on quality of work.
• Structured problem-solving skills and knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles.
• Ability to work effectively and efficiently with diverse teams, clients, and internal and external partners.
• Strong presentation and technical writing skills.
• Self-starter who is highly motivated to succeed in a fast-paced and challenging professional environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop silicon photonics processes across technologies including RF, FinFET, FDSOI, and eNVM.
• Collaborate with process module and device teams to drive process solutions.
• Work with PL and BU to oversee project scope and ensure technical needs are addressed.
• Perform all activities safely and responsibly and support Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs.
