About The Position

GlobalFoundries Fab 8 is seeking an experienced professional to support its 300mm semiconductor process integration team. The team owns process integration across development, customer engagement, and production. The role focuses on developing and delivering advanced technology for mass production, applying technical knowledge across multiple processes, and balancing quality, cost, and delivery to develop, sustain, and improve technologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s, master’s, or Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Solid State Physics, or another relevant engineering or physical science discipline.
• At least 4 years of industry experience.
• Experience leading an engineering team and developing and delivering advanced technology for mass production.
• Strong project management skills, particularly in managing project schedules, scope, and cost trade-offs.
• Excellent oral and written interpersonal skills.

Nice To Haves

• Master’s degree and 2 or more years of relevant work experience.
• FEOL/BEOL process experience with FinFET and FDSOI technology.
• Results-oriented approach and focus on quality of work.
• Structured problem-solving skills and knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles.
• Ability to work effectively and efficiently with diverse teams, clients, and internal and external partners.
• Strong presentation and technical writing skills.
• Self-starter who is highly motivated to succeed in a fast-paced and challenging professional environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop silicon photonics processes across various technologies, including RF, FINFET, FDSOI, and eNVM.
• Collaborate with process module and packaging teams to drive process solutions.
• Work with TD and BU to oversee project scope and ensure technical needs are addressed.
• Perform activities safely and responsibly and support Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs.
