Senior Pastor
About The Position
Fellowship Alliance Church in Truth or Consequences, New Mexico, is seeking a Senior Pastor to provide biblical, spiritual, and organizational leadership to its loving, caring, and Bible-centered congregation. The church has an average Sunday attendance of approximately 100 members and a current membership of 37. The congregation values biblical truth, unity, service, and genuine care, and hopes to grow its community involvement, strengthen marriages and families, develop disciples and lay leaders, and expand ministry to youth and men. The Senior Pastor will faithfully communicate God's Word, provide spiritual leadership and vision, and equip the congregation for ministry. The role includes preaching and teaching, discipleship and leadership development, evangelism and outreach, pastoral care, staff and volunteer leadership, worship oversight, partnership with elders, missions support, and biblical conflict management. The successful candidate must meet pastoral ministry requirements within The Christian & Missionary Alliance and be eligible for licensing and appointment as an Alliance Official Worker. Compensation will be commensurate with training, experience, and ministry effectiveness. Terms of Call may include salary and housing allowance designation, health insurance provisions, ministry expenses, vacation, study and illness leave, retirement provisions, and moving expenses. The position requires licensing with The Christian & Missionary Alliance.
Requirements
- Be a godly, Spirit-filled pastor who is confident in Christ, disciplined, committed to God's Word, and genuinely loves people.
- Meet the requirements for pastoral ministry within The Christian & Missionary Alliance.
- Be eligible for licensing and appointment as an Alliance Official Worker.
- Obtain licensing with The Christian & Missionary Alliance.
Responsibilities
- Provide biblical, spiritual, and organizational leadership to the congregation.
- Preach and teach the Bible.
- Provide spiritual leadership and vision.
- Develop disciples and equip lay leaders for ministry.
- Lead evangelism and community outreach.
- Provide pastoral care, visitation, and counseling.
- Minister to marriages and families.
- Lead staff, volunteers, and ministry programs.
- Partner with church elders and leadership.
- Oversee worship services.
- Support and promote international missions.
- Manage conflict biblically.
