Senior Paid Media Manager

Well-Oiled Operations,
$85,000 - $100,000Remote

About The Position

We are hiring a Senior Paid Media Manager to own our in-house performance marketing across paid social and paid search. You will start by leading Meta (Facebook and Instagram) campaigns and, over time, expand into additional platforms including Google, YouTube, TikTok, Pinterest, LinkedIn, Spotify, Amazon, and emerging channels like ChatGPT placements. This is a hands-on role for an experienced media buyer who is just as strong in strategy and data analysis as they are in campaign setup. You are not just pressing buttons. You are responsible for the outcomes: leads, sales, profitability, and the data story behind them. You think cross-channel, optimize daily, and hold yourself to a standard where every dollar spent can be accounted for. You will work closely with the Meta, Funnels & AI Performance Coach, our Brand & Creative Director, and our Messaging & Copy Strategist to align offers, creative, and funnels. Collaboration is not optional here. The best campaigns come from people who communicate early, share what they are learning, and build on each other's work. As a growing company, there will be seasons where this role flexes across departments or picks up work outside the core scope to keep things moving. That is the nature of building something at this stage. The expectation is not that every task fits neatly into a job description, but that you lead with ownership, communicate what you are carrying, and help the team solve for it together.

Requirements

  • 5 to 7+ years of hands-on experience running paid media campaigns, including Meta Ads Manager plus at least one additional major platform (Google, YouTube, TikTok, LinkedIn, etc.).
  • Proven track record managing meaningful ad budgets and consistently hitting performance targets (ROAS, CAC, lead volume, profitability).
  • Strong analytical skills and fluency with ad platform dashboards, Google Analytics or GA4, and reporting tools. You read data, spot patterns, and make fast, high-quality optimization decisions.
  • Experience building and managing full-funnel campaigns from top-of-funnel awareness through conversion and retention, not just boosting posts or basic traffic campaigns.
  • Hands-on experience setting up pixels, conversion APIs, UTM structures, and server-side tracking. You understand attribution models and their blind spots.
  • Experience running structured A/B and multivariate tests on creative, audiences, landing pages, and bidding strategies with documented learnings.
  • Experience working with creative, copy, and marketing teams to brief assets, align messaging, and improve campaign performance through collaboration.
  • In-house experience strongly preferred. We are not looking for someone who managed from a distance at an agency. We want someone who has been embedded in the business, owned the outcomes, and felt the results.
  • You think like an owner, not a button-pusher. You care about the business outcomes, not just your ad account.
  • You understand that campaign setup is step one. Optimization is the job. You are in the data daily, not weekly.
  • You care about how each channel contributes to the overall business, not just your silo. You ask "What is the blended result?" before declaring a win.
  • You are confident in your skills and humble enough to learn new ones. When someone gives you feedback, your first instinct is to try it, not defend your way.
  • You share what you are seeing, ask for what you need, and keep people in the loop without being asked. Collaboration is how you work, not something you do when forced.
  • You are excited by the idea of building something from the ground up, not inheriting a machine someone else built. You want to shape the playbook, not just follow one.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in online education, coaching, info-product, or creator businesses.
  • Familiarity with VSLs, webinar funnels, challenge launches, and high-ticket offer structures.

Responsibilities

  • Own campaign management across Meta (Facebook and Instagram) to start, then expand into Google, YouTube, TikTok, Pinterest, LinkedIn, Spotify, Amazon, and other platforms as we grow.
  • Plan, build, launch, and optimize campaigns for leads, sales, and profitability, not just clicks. Manage the full funnel from top-of-funnel awareness through conversion and retention.
  • Analyze performance daily and weekly. Translate account data into clear actions to improve CAC, ROAS, LTV, and overall profitability.
  • Evaluate cross-channel impact and blended performance so decisions are made based on total business outcomes, not siloed metrics.
  • Manage ad spend responsibly. Pace budgets, reallocate based on performance, and proactively flag when spend is trending off-target before it becomes a problem.
  • Set up and maintain tracking infrastructure: pixels, tags, UTM parameters, conversion events, and server-side tracking.
  • Understand attribution models and their limitations. Be able to explain what the data says and what it does not say, so leadership can make informed decisions.
  • Provide clear, actionable reports to leadership on a weekly and monthly cadence. Reports include what is working, what is not, and what you are doing about it.
  • Build and maintain dashboards that give leadership and cross-functional teams visibility into campaign performance without having to ask for updates.
  • Develop and run structured testing roadmaps covering creative, audiences, bidding strategies, landing pages, and offers. Document every test and its learnings.
  • Partner with the Brand & Creative Director and design team to brief, test, and iterate on ad creative. Bring data-backed creative insights to the table, not just requests for more assets.
  • Collaborate with the Meta, Funnels & AI Performance Coach to ensure landing pages, offers, and post-click experiences are aligned with campaign strategy.
  • Work with the Messaging & Copy Strategist to test and refine ad copy, hooks, and angles. Share performance data so copy decisions are informed by results, not guesswork.
  • As you prove mastery on Meta, proactively research and recommend expansion into new platforms. Come with a plan, not just a suggestion.
  • Work closely with marketing, sales, coaching, and creative teams. Share what you are seeing in the data, ask for context, and align on offers, messaging, and timing.
  • Keep leadership informed on campaign performance, risks, and opportunities. Do not wait to be asked. Surface insights early and often.
  • Stay on top of platform changes, algorithm updates, best practices, and new advertising opportunities. Share relevant updates with the team so everyone benefits.
  • Leverage AI tools to streamline reporting, automate repetitive tasks, and surface insights faster. Track hours saved and share workflows that work with the team.
  • Actively participate in our advertising training program. Use our curriculum, coaching calls, and resources to sharpen your skills and expand into new platforms.
  • Receive coaching and feedback with an open mind. Implement it quickly.
  • Take responsibility for your own development. Ask questions, seek out new certifications, stay current on platform changes, and continuously improve your craft.
  • When you learn something that works, share it. When you make a mistake, share that too.
